1805 - Diamond: Can user make post Place and Route (PAR) changes to the design without having to run through the entire Lattice Diamond design flow?
Changes to the post PAR design are generally refereed to as Engineering Change Orders, or ECOs. The changes are directly written into the Native Circuit Description (.ncd) database file without requiring that user go through the entire design implementation process.
Lattice Diamond Supports a ECO Editor that can be used to edit I/O Preferences, PLL Preferences, and Memory Initialization values.
To open the ECO Editor select:
Tools -> ECO Editor in the Lattice Diamond Design environment window
In the ECO editor choose the appropriate tab for the changes user need to make:
- sysIO Setting
- PLL Programming
- Memory Initialization
