Radiant: Why does Radiant generate bitstream that contains unusual or garbled characters?
Description:
When generating a bitstream on Radiant, there have been reports where the generated bitstream includes unusual or garbled characters that are not appropriate for device programming.
Solution:
This issue might occur if the project path is located on a shared drive connected via the internet. If the internet connection is unstable, the bitstream generated might be corrupted.
To workaround the issue, make sure that you have a stable internet connection when using projects that are located in a network drive or relocate the project to your local machine.
There is no planned fix for this issue in Radiant 2023.2 SP1 or earlier.
