Lattice Radiant: What does this warning mean&nbsp;<b><i>"Generated_clock: not connect to any master clock pin."</i></b>?

Description:
The user encounters a WARNING message shown below whenever they utilize a PLL IP.

"Generated_clock: not connect to any master clock pin."

Solution:
The warning implies that the timing engine is indicating that there is no clock at the source pin. The user needs to define a clock on the port that drives the reference pin of the PLL.

At Radiant 2023.2 or later, the message will be changed from "Generated_clock: not connected to any master clock pin." to "Generated_clock: clock not found on source pin.".
