5925 - Diamond 3.10 and earlier: How to install Diamond Programmer Standalone version?

Description:

Diamond Programmer comes with the base installation of the Diamond software itself. The standalone version can be used with encryption pack that should be installed after the base of Diamond software. The step-by-step procedure is provided in the solution section.

Solution:

Go to Lattice Diamond webpage provided in the link: https://www.latticesemi.com/en/Products/DesignSoftwareAndIP/FPGAandLDS/LatticeDiamond.
Proceed to Software Downloads & Documentation > Downloads > Downloadable Software.
Select the appropriate version of the Diamond depending on the operating software that the user used then, run the .exe file. Example: Diamond 3.10 64-bit for <Windows/Linux>
For Programmer standalone version, install the Diamond 3.10 64-bit Encryption Pack for <Windows/Linux>.

For Diamond 3.11 onwards, the programmer package is already comes with the base installation.
