  • Ambient Temperature - temperature of the surroundings
  • Operating Temperature - temperature of the device when the power is ON
  • Storage Temperature (Ambient) - temperature of the surroundings when the power is OFF
  • When referring to "Storage Temperature" only, we refer to Ambient Temperature, TA
  • When referring to "Operating Temperature" only, we refer to Junction Temperature, TJ
  • In FPGA-TN-02044-4.5, the following equations were used:
    • The TA being referred to is the temperature of the surroundings when the power is ON
