6870 - Device Migration: What do we need to consider when migrating from one device to another (i.e. LCMXO2-2000HE-4BG256I to LFE5U-12F-6BG256I)? Do we have any documentation for this?

We don't have any documentation regarding migration from one device to another. But to give you some points on what to check if it is possible to do a migration: 
1. IP support: You design may use specific IP that is only supported on specific devices. If both devices XO2 and ECP5 support all the IPs on your design, then migration is possible. You may need to check the IPs one by one (either on clarity designer or IPExpress).
