Description:
The Diamond software will validate the node-locked license by checking the NIC address of the PC where the software is running. If the NIC address does not match the address in the node-locked license file, the software lauch will fail. The Windows Remote Desktop will run Diamond on the client (lab PC) which has a difference NIC address from the license file, therefore you get the license checkout error.
Solution:
There are two alternative solutions:
1. Use VNC Viewer to access your office PC from the lab. With VNC, the Diamond is actually running on the server (office PC). It only displays the software GUI and the compiling results on the client (lab PC).
2. Apply for a server-based floating license, or another node-locked license for the client computer (lab PC)
