6212 - Programmer: Is HW-USBN-2B compatible with the MACH4A5 (M4A5) family?
The MACH4A5 is a 5V core device and cannot be programmed with an HW-USBN-2B cable. The HW-USBN-2B supports the programming of Lattice devices with a core voltage of up to 3.3V. Programming devices with a 5V core requires the HW-USBN-2A USB cable or HW-DLN-3C parallel cable. These 5V core families include ispLSI 2000E, MACH 4, and MACH4A5.
