4087 - LatticeECP3: How to explore Aptina sensor on the HDR60 Video Camera Development Kit?
To setup and explore the Aptina sensor on the HDR60 Video Camera Development Kit, use the Aptina Devware software. The software can access the sensor by using the Cypress chip through the lower USB Type-A connector. You can obtain a copy of the software from the ON Semiconductor website.
The bit-stream provided with HDR-60 board is only used to access the I2C registers via Aptina Devware. User can't see stream video output through the Cypress USB PHY.
Solution: Lattice currently does not offer an example flex cable solution to connect the Lattice Nanovesta sensor to the Lattice HDR-60 evaluation board. If you would like to design such a cable, the sensors will typically expect 50 ohm traces both ...
Lattice Semiconductor neither has access nor permission to distribute the source code for the Helions ICG tool. The Graphical User Interface (GUI) source is not required for development on HDR-60. By signing a evaluation license agreement Lattice ...
Design tools specifically for the HDR-60 evaluation board consists of the Lattice Diamond software which also includes a number of other tools within it. You can read more about the Lattice Diamond software ...
If it’s to connect a sensor like the Nanovesta board close to the HDR-60, I’d recommend using flex cable, the metal layers are much the same work as laying out a PCB except the material used is now flexible mylar instead of FR4 material or others ...
