1193 - ispLEVER Classic / Installation: What to do if error pops out when starting ispLEVER Classic "Can't read the ini file."?
Description:At start up, ispLEVER looks for an initialization file that is normally located under the lsc_env file (which normally sits directly under the C: drive). If ispLEVER cannot find this file (e.g. C:\lsc_env\lsc_1_4.ini), then the user will get this error.
This error may also occur due to system variable or ispLEVER registry corruption or mismatches.
This error is usually caused by an improper, corrupted or truncated installation, by changes in content or location of the lsc_env directory. or by changes to the system variable "LSC_INI_PATH" (which should hold the valid path to the ini directory).
Solution:
To fix this problem, it is recommended that the user reinstall ispLEVER. During the installation, make sure that:
1- You should have administrative access during the installation.
2- Do not close any of the installation windows during the installation process.
3- Make sure that you are installing on a local or mapped drive. (C: drive is the default and safest place to install ispLEVER.)
4- Make sure that your install path does not have any special characters or spaces
